What this job is about

Usually, the word bootcamp makes you think of yelling drill sergeants and tasteless gruel, but Lighthouse Labs’ Development Bootcamp ( is more of the “sit at your computer with a snack and build an app variety.” Don’t get us wrong: After eight weeks, you’ll have the skills necessary to become a Junior Developer and be eligible for a co-op placement, so it’s not a walk in the park. Junior Developers need to learn everything from HTML/CSS and Javascript to red-hot Ruby on Rails to, all while getting your foot in a highly competitive door with the right post-bootcamp contacts.
