What this job is about

Started from the bottom and now we’re making $60K to $80K per year. That’s the salary you can expect as a Junior Android Developer, which is the perfect platform for a career in Android development. Junior Android Developers need to be comfy with Java and the basics of Android SDK–we’re talking layouts, input, data storage and retrieval, as well as display options–while knowing the ins and outs of basic APIs. Git basics and back-end skills are a plus, but you’ll learn the foundation of all of that in the Treehouse Android Development track ( and a lot on the job. Add what you already know to your diehard loyalty to Android and you’ll be the perfect Junior Developer.
