What this job is about
Hey, no one wakes up magically knowing everything about workplace safety or marketing techniques – that's where corporate trainers come in handy. They're a lot like teachers, using stuff like role-playing, presentations and study materials to teach employees about everything from safety precautions to what to do if someone steals your stapler. You'll work directly with supervisors to discern training needs and the best way to deliver that new information to the masses as you travel from branch to branch. Since you'll be spending a lot of face-to-face time with employees, communication skills – and an enthusiasm for learning about hard hats – is definitely a must.
